Ingredients

  • 1 package ramen noodles
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup cooked chicken or tofu, sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 soft-boiled egg, halved
  • Optional toppings: corn, nori, chili flakes

Instructions

  1. Cook ramen noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and soy sauce. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Stir in sesame oil.
  5. Divide cooked noodles into bowls.
  6. Pour the garlic butter broth over the noodles.
  7. Top with sliced chicken or tofu, green onions, and a halved soft-boiled egg.
  8. Add any optional toppings as desired.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add chili flakes to the broth.
