Ingredients

- 1 package instant ramen noodles
- 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sriracha or other hot sauce, adjust to taste
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 egg, soft-boiled or fried
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
- 1/4 cup cooked protein, such as chicken, tofu, or pork (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped vegetables, such as bok choy, spinach, or mushrooms (optional)
Instructions
- Cook ramen noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, combine broth, soy sauce, sriracha, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Pour the broth mixture over the cooked ramen noodles in a bowl.
- Top with a soft-boiled or fried egg, sliced green onions, and optional protein and vegetables.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a richer broth, use bone broth.
- Add a dash of sesame oil for extra flavor.
- Adjust sriracha amount for desired spice level.
