A simple and flavorful one-pan meal featuring chicken and broccoli coated in a sweet and savory honey soy sauce.
Ingredients

- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 lb broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- In a large bowl, toss the chicken pieces with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and half of the soy sauce mixture.
- Spread the chicken in a single layer on one side of a large baking sheet.
- In the same bowl, toss the broccoli florets with the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil and the rest of the soy sauce mixture.
- Arrange the broccoli on the other side of the baking sheet, next to the chicken.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the broccoli is tender-crisp.
- Serve the chicken and broccoli over cooked rice.
Notes
- For crispier broccoli, you can broil for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.
- Adjust the amount of honey to your sweetness preference.
- Add other vegetables like bell peppers or carrots for extra color and nutrients.
