A fun and delicious breakfast featuring mini pancakes filled with Nutella, served in a bowl.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/4 cup Nutella
- Butter or cooking spray for the pan
- Optional toppings: whipped cream, berries, powdered sugar
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Heat a lightly oiled griddle or non-stick pan over medium heat.
- For each mini pancake, pour about 1 tablespoon of batter onto the griddle.
- Immediately drop about 1/2 teaspoon of Nutella into the center of each pancake.
- Pour a little more batter over the Nutella to cover it.
- Cook for 1-2 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Repeat with the remaining batter and Nutella.
- Serve the mini pancakes in a bowl with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- You can make the Nutella filling ahead of time by freezing small dollops of Nutella on parchment paper.
- Adjust the heat of your griddle to prevent burning.
