Nutella-Stuffed Pancake Cereal Bowl

Description

A fun and delicious breakfast featuring mini pancakes filled with Nutella, served in a bowl.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 cup Nutella
  • Butter or cooking spray for the pan
  • Optional toppings: whipped cream, berries, powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, and melted butter.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
  4. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or non-stick pan over medium heat.
  5. For each mini pancake, pour about 1 tablespoon of batter onto the griddle.
  6. Immediately drop about 1/2 teaspoon of Nutella into the center of each pancake.
  7. Pour a little more batter over the Nutella to cover it.
  8. Cook for 1-2 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Repeat with the remaining batter and Nutella.
  10. Serve the mini pancakes in a bowl with your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • You can make the Nutella filling ahead of time by freezing small dollops of Nutella on parchment paper.
  • Adjust the heat of your griddle to prevent burning.
