A simple recipe for a classic Mai Tai cocktail.
Ingredients

- 2 oz light rum
- 1 oz dark rum
- 1 oz orange curaçao
- 1 oz orgeat syrup
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
- Garnish: mint sprig, lime wedge, cherry
Instructions
- Combine light rum, orange curaçao, orgeat syrup, lime juice, and simple syrup in a shaker filled with ice.
- Shake well until chilled.
- Strain into a glass filled with crushed ice.
- Float the dark rum on top.
- Garnish with a mint sprig, lime wedge, and cherry.
Notes
- For a sweeter drink, add a little more simple syrup.
- For a stronger drink, increase the rum amounts.
