Ingredients

- 8 ounces pasta
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain, reserving about 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- While pasta cooks, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the drained pasta to the skillet.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and a splash of reserved pasta water.
- Toss until the cheese is melted and coats the pasta. Add more pasta water if needed to reach desired consistency.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
- Use your favorite type of pasta.
- Adjust garlic amount to your preference.
- For a creamier sauce, add a tablespoon of heavy cream.
