5-Minute Lazy Girl Pasta with Garlic Parmesan

Description

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain, reserving about 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  2. While pasta cooks, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add the drained pasta to the skillet.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese and a splash of reserved pasta water.
  6. Toss until the cheese is melted and coats the pasta. Add more pasta water if needed to reach desired consistency.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

  • For a creamier sauce, add a tablespoon of heavy cream.
